Hello All,

As stated I am checking to see if this is possible.

The cost from an American side from $us to $aus will make it around $63,000 I think.
To import from the states may be around aus $2,000 and about 1 month travel time I think.

I am currently checking to see if this is at all legal????

I will also talk with a dealer next week to see if they are interested in this at all.

Oh BTW it is possible to buy a RHD JL from an American dealer (not use how to do that yet)

Long process, not looking too much dearer either but I do not know about government charges or other things at the moment.

What do you think?

No news as to whether I can import a current 2 door Rubicon.

I have given up and just got a basic Sport S. I will keep my eyes open to see in the next few years. Maybe the FCA will be nice to us and allow us in the future to buy one . I am also just waiting to see what happens after the Gladiator is out.
