When I was young I joked about just such a link between compensation and cars but now I think its more about being older those cars are more affordable. I think its also more about the lifestyle you get off-roading and the enjoyment it brings. Fast low slung cars are also their own attatraction of course. Like them all…

A mother on my son's lacrosse team has a camera like that and I think she only has the long range lense. She insists on taking a team photo after every tournament and she has to stand like 50 yards away from the team to get everybody in the shot.

Side note, not sure what she is overcompencating for.
