Just removed mine. Curious if anybody has kept the air dam removed?

Tossed mine in the garbage, now I gotta buy a set to trim and fit. Any idea what these are called or part # besides “fugly?!”

Took it off, put it back on. Took it off again. Don't like the look and doesn't seem to provide any real benefit.

took me about an hour and a half to remove, trim and put back. I started with a dremel but quickly switched to a utility knife, I found once you score a line into the plastic the knife cuts a better finish than the dremel.

For what it's worth, I used a jigsaw. Cut in nothing flat.

I did. Just follow the lines and score it a few times. Took me all of 10 minutes for both sides . No messing with taking them off and using a dremal or saw. Very clean lines after it’s off too

If you are on the fence about trimming your close-outs, I have a set that is already trimmed free to good home, just pay shipping. If you want them send me a pm.

Gregj

Edit: they are gone!

Utility knife is definitely the way to go. Score it a few times. Goes through like a hot knife through butter. Smooth edges, no sanding like with the dremel. It took me 5 minutes on each.
