This is the JPP version with the later availability Red Leather interior. Regulars will get 33s.Ordered! Dealer told me probably Feb. I got the half doors and sky top in the dark metallic grey.
Anyone know what size tires are on this which was shown as the example on launch day? Cant tell if 35s or 37s.
Hey Bud, can you share your order in this thread?: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/rubicon-392-edition-jl-club-thread.61544/Yeah the 33s won’t last more than a few days I’m going to replace probably 37s just not sure what these are the look perfect size.
37s would be sick on that!Op here. I found it. 35s on that grey one.
With that badass 392 you've already compromised mileageCan probably get away with 35s without re gearing is my thought. Plus the risk of damage, and compromise to mileage and power not sure the 37s would be worth it. Guess I have a few months to decide...
Definitely won't need a regearing with 470 lb/ft of torque. Just reprogram the new tire size, so the trans shifts correctly, and you should be good to go.Can probably get away with 35s without re gearing is my thought. I find it quite interesting, that they went with the 11.50's vs the typical 12.50's. Safe way of getting a more proportionate looking tire and slight bump in ground clearance, without the added friction and traction.Op here. I found it. 35s on that grey one.
These particular tires the nitto trail grappler are very squared off and wide to begin with, plus the 35s are slightly more than actual 35” so it makes sense all around. That’s what I am going to get exactly day 1.I find it quite interesting, that they went with the 11.50's vs the typical 12.50's. Yeah, I think the bfg's are one the smallest. And I fully agree with sticking to C's. My second set was 315/70-17 ko2's vs 35x12.5, because of the C weight rating. Because most 37's are d or e, I chose the 38x13.5 milestar pat's for their c-rating.These particular tires the nitto trail grappler are very squared off and wide to begin with, plus the 35s are slightly more than actual 35” so it makes sense all around. my wife’s 35 x 12.50 nitto trail grapples dwarf my BFg mts of the same size it’s almost weird how they are sized.
Also I noticed the 11.50s were C load rating versus the 12.50s are E load rated which is what my wife has. They are so stiff I would never do E load rating tires again on a Jeep. I need that softer sidewall and carcass.
