Good morning jeepers,

I really want a nice front bumper /winch setup, but I just cant decide. I've seen the mopar steel with the Warn winch but I just cant pull the trigger with the high price tag. What do you guys have or think is the best setup for under 1500 dollars? Thanks in advance...

I have the LOD destroyer shorty with skid plate and Quadratec stealth 10000 winch with synthetic rope. It uses your factory fogs as well. Everything was around 1300.00....... both are holding up and working great, very happy with this setup......:)... they also have a mid and full width version.

I don't have it (but it's in my wishlist); the Rugged Ridge Arcus bumper is stamped steel, so it looks a lot more factory like the Mopar bumper. It has a winch plate, optional hoop, factory fog light mounts, recovery hooks with shackle holes and jack points. Sells for $550 I think. It's stubby though, so that may not be your thing.

Following as I have the same problem/question.

I really like the way the steel mopar bumper looks, wanting to add a winch and a grille guard loop with some aux led lights on it. Why does that price tag have to be so high in comparison to the other after-market options!?! UGH

A popular Jeep person online did a great video on just using the Warn winch plate with EVO D-ring mounts (and winch of course). That's it! Very minimalist, functional, strong etc. Of course you do not have the lights in the bumper anymore. I asked what he did with the plug and he said he just taped it up.

I went with Rock Slide Engineering and a Smittybilt winch. With the winch on sale it was under $1500 total. Factory fogs fit, and with a Sport your fenders will fit tighter to it than they do with the Rubi fenders.

I have the Genright ultra clearance bumper and have been very happy with it. I would highly recommend it, it also as a built in steel recessed winch tray.

That doesnt look bad at all. But I'm looking for a more stock steel look.

I install the RockSlide Engineering bumper with the Quadratec Stealth winch. Used the factory LED fog lights. Love the look, fit and finish were great
