Im really actually greedier than you think. I look at it more like I could have bought one, drove it around for a couple months or more and then sold it for a profit. 🤷‍♂️ Just being honest.
How? At $75k after ttl its almost $85k otd. You really think you will be able to sell it for $100k plus to make any decent money for the risk?

I mean the $50k into next crypto at .005 should make $50k if it increases to a penny at .01.

Can't you just do a hemi swap for about $20K? I don't understand the people paying $95K for a 392!! Insane to me!!
$95k is ridiculous, but I would certainly pay a decent premium to have it engineered and warranted by the manufacturer.

I think I'd rather do my own hemi swap, with a 5.7 (390hp would be plenty, trust me) and try to get it done for around 10-14K total cost. Not sure that's doable, but worth a try.

The cost for a new hemi jeep is batshit nuts. No way I'd ever pay that.

I’m not saying I’m right, because only time will tell us the truth.
Here’s my thinking. It feels like it’s going to take awhile for this car market to slow down. It could be a few months or it could be a year. I bought my ride a little over a year ago and the msrp was around 51,200, and I paid 47,100. Where I live 47k is 47k Plus a few hundred for title and no sales tax. I can sell it now easily for its original msrp (I have 3 offers 1 over msrp, and 2 just barely under). So if I had bought one at 75k, I’d roll the dice that I could resell it for that or more in a few month, and if not, oh well I’d be stuck in a 392 at a price that looks to be moving up not down. Not to mention if it turns out to be a limited run, they’ll be worth even more. Just an opinion.

It's all based upon debt. I have never seen so many brand new $80k diesel trucks, toy haulers, side by sides, etc., in my life. Think all of these people are paying cash? I don't. I have heard stories from friends about people who have all the toys but can't afford to really use them. I think there's going to be a lot of deals in used toys in the coming years.
Paid cash for mine.

I got mine OTD for $71,980. That includes taxes and licensing. Everything.

Also, they are seemingly fully loaded. Only thing I added was black paint, front camera, floor mats, and a hitch. Everything else is included.

My '20 JLUR gets 10mpg. I assume the 392 will do a couple better.

You can do better on power and price with a supercharger.

I've read the 3.6 has a longevity issue under boost though? If not, heck yeah I'd be open to just supercharging it.

Not all boost is created equal. There are only 2 superchargers that I would buy for myself.
You gotta remember this 3.6 is pretty close to the very high horsepower Maserati twin turbo 3.6. You can damage any engine if the tune or boost is off.

I’d rather invest that extra money which is like 30k off of a regular rubi. Than to pay that much for a V8. That’s just me tho

MSRP on my loaded '21 JLURD was over $66k (not close to what I paid). I've been circling the lemon buyback for a couple months now (due to oil leaks and overheating) and the 392 was seriously considered for replacement. Fewer discounts available, but the fuel mileage penalty was the bigger consideration for me, based on how and where I usually drive.

In some small market community's you can purchase a house for the price of a 392 Jeep
In Utah you can purchase a 392 with the price jump in the average suburban house price over last 3 months. Maybe a SXS and toy hauler, too. You just can't find a replacement house. ;)
