I keep finding my self waiving at Jeeps when Im in my work car

I've done it, but most of the time catch myself before I do it. Lol! It is especially hard because I'm driving a Jeep 97% of the time and I've driven Jeeps for over two decades. That is one overdeveloped habit!

It is silly, but I do it out of habit. My wife gives me a bad time when I wave driving her Outback.

I realized I was doing it when I was driving with my wife in her Forester -- she saw me Jeep-wave and she said "Who was that, do we know them?"
Like I said, it's a force of habit and part of the club.

And it still happens when I'm not driving my Jeep.

I've been riding motorcycles for 45yrs and this is our 3rd Wrangler. I constantly have the urge to wave. When on the bike I want to wave at Wranglers and vice versa.
