If you don’t mind me asking, why’d you sell it?
I invented the Exact Center by Roadmaster. We have put it on just about everything so I wanted to see if we could make a Bronco better. The Bronco on the road should be the benchmark for all Jeep owners. The steering is so good I cannot see how it can be made better. When I bought the Bronco it seemed like a good idea as I was number 5600+- so it was rare and I expected it would hold its value. We will test Exact Center on the 2021 Wrangler JKLU Rubicon 392. We will soon be looking at sway bar release, but not on Rubicon. 392 sounds like fun. My 2018 JL 2dr Rubicon was great, but too small behind the back seat to do many things, this is about the same as the Bronco so I think It will be just right. My wife has a Lincoln Aviator which is huge when compared to any of the Jeeps or Broncos. So it can haul bigger stuff and my sons all have trucks so we can ask for help if something is too big. I did like the Bronco a lot. It has the best on the road manners of just about anything. It is easier to drive than the Aviator if you don't let the aviator self-drive. Then it is better, but not much. Bronco Outback 2.7 4 dr ride is firm, but dam good. It is nice but kind of ugly. I like the Jeep looks much better. Bronco is like Jeep Gladiator, it can look good, but you need to add stuff to get there.
I would say get an Exact Center for your Jeep and the Bronco on-road manors will be your real target. It can be that good.

Going through vehicles quickly is American. You pay taxes on every flip, and that helps our economy. :)
I have helped the US economy for years. I had at least 10 Diesel pushers (test the ones that are built to last 1 million miles). I had two Prevost 45 foot Monaco Royales. They were useless as RV, but they sure drew a crowd at a casino. We were asked many times who is in there? I tried boats, then bigger boats, then Yachts, then bigger yachts. I was the salesman's dream customer. I am almost 78 and I think I told my wife the Bronco would be my last when I was buying our new RV. It is a sickness, I have and have had it for a long long time. Now I am in a hurry trying to try everything.

Very interesting! And we’ll said about the looks of the bronco… some angles are just trash lol. You can tell it was designed around the Sasquatch package. It looks terrible without it IMO

$5000 may seem like a lot to many people, but when you factor in the cost you will spend on a 392 (which will be significantly more than the Bronco), hmm....I don't know if it would be cost effective in the end. Aren't dealers charging like $10k-$15k over sticker for 392s nowadays? The used/new car industry is crazy now, just like the housing industry. People are selling their homes for a significant profit just to find out they will spend $100k-$150k more on a new house of equivalent size. It's crazy out there!
I don't know. I sold my home in Commiefornia, paid cash for much bigger home in Arizona, also paid cash for new Rubicon plus invested over 100K... so I guess it depends

California has always been a HCL area, decades before this recent national bubble so they are the exception.

Commiefornia"?

I know what communism is, and I know that California is liberal, but I don't see any connection. For the record, communist countries are much tougher on liberals who they see as a threat to their iron rule. [Think Tiananmen Square] I think you may have it backwards.

In any case, welcome to Arizona!

My wife grew up in Nicaragua during the Sandinista take over. She would strongly disagree. And Thank you, We Love Arizona

Damn, that's amazing. I should've done that. I canceled my order for my 2021 Bronco (which just arrived at the dealer the other day), then bought my Wrangler instead.

I turned in a low mileage lease recently too. So many opportunities to make a few bucks that I missed out on. Oh well. Good for you!!! And in my state you just pay taxes on the difference and not for the price of the vehicle.
I bought a Lunar Rock TRD Pro 4Runner last July and my Jeep dealer is giving me 8,500 more than I paid for it. 7,000 miles on the odometer right now. And I’m getting 5,500 off on the new XR JLUR. Not a bad deal in my book. In my state you only pay taxes on the difference between the trade in and what you pay for the vehicle and not on the price of the new vehicle, so they will be cutting me a check for about 5 grand since they are giving me more for my trade then the price of the new Jeep.

Now this is a I just sold my vehicle thread I can get behind, not the BS ones that say “I traded my wrangler because I expected it to drive like a Ford Explorer”

Let us know how the test on the 392 goes.

Toyotas are boring as hell, but man they sure hold their value, especially the TRD Pro. I had a white Pro 4Runner back in 2017 and drove it for a full year and got exactly what I paid for it (MSRP) on trade in. This market right now is an exception to the rule, but may as well take advantage of it.

I did buy the 2021 Rubicon 392 XR and I am very comfortable there will be no issue towing it 4 down flat behind the RV. Thanks for all the input on the issue. I am 77 and I have to say again the 392 is like what I think it would be like if I was 13 again and had an unlimited ride pass at a great amusement park. Every drive (I now have near 2000 miles) is a smile maker and a laugh getter. The thing is the perfect street hotrod. You can roll on the power and keep it below the speed limit, with low noise or intoxicating noise, your choice. It feels so good. This is maybe my best jeep ever and I have had maybe 10. I did have a 2021 Bronco for 7000 miles, it was OK and had very good on-road manors, it cannot even be compared on any fun-to-drive scale it is a 5 on a scale of 1-10 and the 392 is a 15, maybe even a 20.
