I have cheap Amazon covers plasti-dipped black. Purpose is to protect the hinges from rock chips until I spend the money on Rokblokz. The look is growing on me though, however the fitment isn't great and I forsee rust issues from road salt getting trapped in between.

That’s a good point about road salt but I guess I’m in NC so maybe I don’t need to worry? Love the look of the black though (in my opinion).

Those bolts are not T-50. They are T-55. The T-50 is only for the bolt to remove the door bolt at the bottom. That's why the it says T-50 with an arrow. The 50 looks like it will fit because of the paint. You're using the wrong bit.
