I installed Hella ValueFit 500 LED driving lights + Quadratec bumper light mounts

installed these LEDs and the quadratec light mounts this morning. the accent light is wired to AUX3 and the main LED is wired to AUX1(overkill, but i wanted them seperated)

the quadratec mounts are nice, but a bit of a pain to install. you have not a lot of room behind the mounts to get to the nuts. it's tedious and you need to use an OPEN ENDED wrench, otherwise you're going to dent the shit out of your radiator(like I did, boooo). If you intend on getting them, tighten the bottom ones first, before mounting them, then install/tighten the top nuts and carriage bolts after wrapping them around the brace.

Dang $120 for just mounts. That costs more than the mopar ones. Would expect them to be cheaper than the oem mounts. Jeep looks good though.

they're supposed to be easier to install than the MOPAR ones, that's why i chose them.

I have the mopar ones. It wasnt too bad, just have to enlarge 2 existing holes in the frame.

I might be able to pair these quadratic ones with mine to get 4 lights up front. Thanks for posting, I actually never heard of the quadtratec ones until now.

I installed the quadratec mounts this weekend 15 min install with the factory switches (seven inch lights). Did some hood lights (five inch) too.
