I installed a roof rack on my 2 Door

The cross bars are by Jeep
The roof tray is by Rhino Rack. I got the smallest one they have.
The Rhino Rack is positioned across the roof instead of long ways.

The plan was to make sure I could open the soft top.

Also, I only need the roof rack when I am going off road or overlanding. So I chose something I can add and remove easily and store easily.

I have the Maximus-3 on my 2dr. Great rack and you can remove freedom panels but it is pretty much permanent on the hardtop. It actually is a Rhino Rack but sold by Maximus. Wi strap a bunch of stuff up top and I had the rain gutter Mopar rack and with two Kayaks or a rook top box loaded I was getting nervous

I need a light duty lumber rack for my 2 door.. I was thinking about speed rail pipe fittings off front & rear bumpers.. anybody do this?

I have the same setup so I can use my ski rack in the winter. I’ve been very happy with it..

I'm really hoping Rhino-Rock releases a backbone system for the 2-dr JL soon. I have that on my JKU, and it works great! Still allows for easy removal of the hard top too.

Rhino Rack has U bolts. I got them from the roof rack dealer.
