This is the first time I’ve not owned one, or had one in the family. The JL is the best one made. Hands down. There is no argument that can be made to the contrary. But. I sold mine. And damn do they keep their value, lucky for me. I kinda stayed with the same thing, only bigger. I bought a 2018 Power Wagon. I wanted it for towing a camper among other things. I know I will miss it, but I have run about every trail in this state give or take. This truck will do everything I want it to, and if it doesn’t, I have a Can Am maverick X3 that will. It’s been fun but as I get older my needs have changed. I’ll still be engaged if anyone needs any advice but there is such a wealth of info on here, that my opinions won’t be needed. I posted a few things up for sale if peeps are interested but good luck to you all and enjoy your JLs!

You will miss it.

I suspect you will purchase a used one down the road for a toy.

See you back in a jeep soon

Best choice to replace the JL! I went the oppsite way that you did Ram 2500 (oil burner) to JL. If you get the itch to lift that beauty, I can tell you that Thuren Fabrication is legit, improves ride quality and cabability. Customer service is excellent as well.

You bought that big power wagon to tow a small teardrop ? lol . Your Jeep could have done that .
Teardrop?

My JL wouldn’t tow what I’m buying unfortunately. I mean, it would but........30’ might be a bit heavy loaded down.

True. I might very well buy a new one down the road but it will definitely be a 2 door. Until then this does just fine too. But. It’s not a Jeep. Something about them. You’re right. I will miss one.

Solid choice. And that’s why I haven’t given up my Cummins after over 12 years. Both the truck and the Jeep serves me a purpose

Outstanding choice in a truck! I owned one 3 years ago and loved everything about it except,.... how tall it was. Given that, I'm thinking about another one to replace my Rebel.

The Power Wagon is the best truck built today, IMHO of course!

Started driving jeeps 40 years ago and along the way also owned many Dodge (Ram) trucks. I have had short wheel based regular cab 4X4s, Club Cab 4X4s a beautiful red Power Wagon, a couple diesel 3500 4 wheel drives and they were all great. A couple years ago I sold my JKUS and bought a boat, still have the boat but missed the jeep so much I recently sold a Ram 3500 Mega Cab Laramie Long Horn 4X4 and bought a 2020 JLUR and it is like being back home after a long deployment. It is an addiction and I am hooked
