My wife is interested in getting her own Rubi and she really likes the bright colors that Jeep uses. Says they look like a box of crayons. She's has her sights set on a Punk'n 2 door w/ black fenders and top.

I showed her the tan top and she gave me a dirty look.

I like the classic tan or spice tops like I had years ago but on a yellow Jeep, go black.

Get the black non-premium top (i.e. the standard top). The non-premium top is more durable and easier to clean, it also matches the tone of the black fenders and fades equally overtime. Also, If you live in a snowy environment the standard top is easier to remove snow from.

Same with the LED headlights, skip them if you live in a snowy environment and get a set of aftermarket heated LEDs. The factory LEDs will not generate enough heat to melt away the snow and ice.

Tell her to go for it! I love my 2-door Punk’n Rubi with black fenders and top (especially when it’s down).

Get the premium one and buy it here on the forum, it is less expensive, if you decide to buy it quick at the local dealer they all have a 15% off coupon on the website. When I was looking you could not get the twill (premium one) top only the cheap one, avoid it, that one will not last long. IMO

Top should match the interior. Personally I’d do beige and beige to be different from the 99% that do black. Mine is silver with beige leather and I will add a beige soft top soon.
