No BS electronics and one of my favorite engines ever made(in my top 10).. Plus that thing is super clean which is rare and you spent a ton less.. I'd say screw the JL for now..lol

Yeah! You can open up the hood and actually trace the wiring :D although there are a few connectors to nowhere. I’ll have to find the wiring schematic.

The engine has 221k miles and hopefully 200k more with the rebuilt top end.

The JL is for sure on the horizon... I can’t picture my surviving long road trips in the YJ. Oh WAIT!?! I can tow it with the Toyota... oh the black hole I have created :o

Lol, yeah—wife is already talking like my 14 year old will get it. I’ll have to decide YJ, 911 or Yamaha XV1700 has to leave the stable for the JL.

Good luck with your decision. All your rides are awesome and worth keeping. Tough decision, but I bet your kid would love to drive that YJ.

Sweet!!! I just sold a 91YJ Islander a couple of months ago. Kinda miss it, but still have a TJ and the JL. The YJ was a good strong off road jeep.
