Some years ago, a co-worker raised the top on my MGB just before the rain started. I was working inside and wasn't aware that the clouds had rolled in. I was glad for the assist.

We can only hope that courtesy such as what the OP demonstrated isn't another casualty of this increasingly intolerant world.

Did you have the MGB top with the metal frame separate from the top? I would often continue driving in the rain because I didn’t feel like dealing with it .

To the OP, I would have appreciated someone closing my top like you did.
