I have a joey sticker sitting in the garage still, just not in mood lately to apply it.

My stickers are still turning heads though. Especially the one on my driver side door.

I caught a lady taking a picture of my header on the front window in her mirror earlier today. I'm guessing she realized that it becomes legible in a mirror.

I actually have a preposterous project coming up later this year. I want to complete it before September. I'll just leave you with this snippet to ponder on: 50x20 aluminum (5051) sheet metal, four new holes in the tailgate, and some JK Hood latches.

Drop down tailgate table on the outside of the tailgate so you can mount a couple of jump seats on the outside for the grandkids. They can spot you from their new vantage point if you have to back down a sketchy trail. Am I right?

I have an idea. To help earn money towards a cheap daily sedan. Get with your local high school auto shop. Charge each kid $30 to work on your jeep for 1 hour. The first kid that gets the dash lights to go out gets his $30 back. Can they really make it any worse?

We'll get the 3rd vehicle after we purchase our next house. It's gonna be an 80s or 90s pickup. Chevy or Ram, I haven't decided yet.

I understand this feeling. This happened when I built up my cj7. It was cool, but terrifying.

I kept the next 2 jeeps bone stock. I am modding up my diesel, but super slow because what you're feeling isn't much fun.

I hope you get the front end sorted and driving happy again.

His steering wheel is crooked. He knows it's crooked. He knows it will trigger the light. And yet it's the Jeeps fault?

Not to mention that he hails from hot Texas, yet decided to double block the airflow to the radiator. First with a mesh grill, then with a giant, high mounted winch. I'm surprised that Jeep still runs.

For my Jeep, that I depend for bringing me back from several miles from any road and cell service, I make sure to give it the best chance of completing the mission by taking care of it.

And owning one out of the Jeep extended warranty is completely out of the question.

I know, I know....his Jeep, his money....I respect that. But you should not kick your dog, beat your wife, or handicap your Jeep.

They seem to come from the factory fairly reliable…. Mine did, then i “Fixed” some things I didn’t like…. Less reliable.

my brother somehow triggered a bug in the etorque system last year. and the etorque motor no longer works as a generator, battery drains as I drive and eventually I get misfires, I stopped to unplug the battery and basically the who system got a reset.

These newer vehicles are too complex, and I had to reboot it like a computer.

Well to each his own for me, I love driving my Jeep every day. I only had one in for the check engine light came on drove it for a while check engine light went off. I have no idea what it was then I didn’t hook up at OBD reader to find out
I often have long commute to job sites sometimes hour and a half to even three hours

everybody in here acting like Jeeps are known for reliability...they've NEVER been monuments to sound automotive engineering. Nowadays, it seems everything has some issues due to far too much technology being crammed into the various platforms. Also, there's that whole planned obsolescence thang! My $0.02
