So I just bought the extended MOPAR Warranty (max Care). I ended up going with 7 years/60k miles. I paid $990 total and have a $100 dollar deductible. I went through Granger Motors.

I usually don’t buy extended warranties but that seemed like a great deal to me. Especially since this is my 3rd wrangler and I have had repairs that totaled over $1,000 on both of my previous jeeps.

Anyone else find a good deal like this for the extended warranty? When I called the MOPAR warranty department directly, they quoted me at $2,500 for the same package.

What's it cover, or maybe a better question, what are the exclusions?

What's the standard warranty, 3/36 with 5/60 powertrain?

It’s the max care so it covers all original factory components if they fail. Also comes with free roadside assistance and a few other benefits. It’s basically an extension of the 3 year 36k mile warranty that comes with the new vehicle.

I had noticed that there was another package that you could add to that and I believe it covered the windshield and key and some electronics?

I bought the 8 year/100k Max Care from Granger. Twice as much as yours but I put about 12k miles/yr typically and in my experience over the years things start to fail at about 80k miles. I hope to have my 392 a very long time so time will tell whether it pays off or was expensive insurance.....

With the Mopar warranty, you have to go to the dealership for work right?

Well good price. But really low mileage at 60000. I would shopped around for something with more time. But with all the stuff on these things you do need some kind of warranty

I did get the MOPAR warranty when I got my 2024 Rubicon X 4Xe. Got the 8 year, 125,000 mile $0 deductible warranty. I figured with $0 because a dealer could $100 you to death. Mine is not tied back too the dealer so I am not restricted to where I take it.... as long as it is a MOPAR dealer. My cost was $2,850

I bought the Max Care when i purchased my Sahara JLU in 2018. I have 104k on it and have used it for a new rear axle, New hinges due to paint bubbles, Radio replacement. Also, brought it in to replace the belt tensioner, and ended up with a new water pump and alternator - long story. All I had to play was the $100 deductible 2X - the dealer didn't ask for it the other times. Glad I have the max care.
