We didn't catch that our Rubicon would only come with the red stitching and dash when we ordered it. I love this thing, but cannot stand the red accents on the Hydro Blue. I don't get why Jeep would not offer the blue accent on ALL of them, instead of making it a 4XE option only. Yours looks great!
This is a significant part of the reason I don't have a Rubicon. The only way to get rid of that fugly red stitching is to order it with a tan leather interior (which, admittedly, looks nice with the Hydro) and then Katskinz back to black (if you want black). The dash panel is easy to swap - it's the stitching that kills it.

At the factory, they have 4 stitching colors:
- Black (Sahara)
- Grey (Rubicon w/ tan interior)
- Red (Rubicon)
- Camel/Cream (392)
- Blue (4xe)

I wish they would just have a ~$300-400 "blackout" option that gives black badging/stitching to any trim.

Got some upgrades this week. New wheels, tires, steps, bull bar and mudflaps.

Love the 4xe blue on the Hydro. I *almost* went with the blue hooks for my Sahara when I got the steel bumper, but got a pair of JT Mojave ones for free and I like the splash of orange, so now I'm doing all of my recovery gear orange.

That's not a bad idea. I have some of those aluminum covers that fit on my HVAC/volume knobs. But the blue is definitely a bit....off
I also sprayed the Speaker surrounds. Paint match was perfect with the blue spec in it like the Jeep body paint. 🤙

ooo those half doors look amazing, i need a set!
Thanks! Had the chance to finally install them with the spring weather and the SOT roof open. So close to going fully topless! But without the hassle of removing the roof.

A combination of a faulty brake booster at <1k miles that pretty much left it undriveable for three months and a poor experience from Jeep corporate to address the issue (happy with the dealer service though).

So, I decided to have them buy it back and am looking into buying a used, out-of-warranty JL that I don’t have to rely on Stellantis to fix if sth goes wrong (hopefully never, of course).
