I bought it from Daytona CDJR, and they host Jeep Beach Week every year in Daytona. Supposedly, the owner worked with FCA on the new model, but some of his ideas were not incorporated, so he added them to some of the ones he ordered... That included the Mopar Katzkin seats with the custom "Jeep Beach" embroidery, the Jeep beach badges, and the color-coded beadlock rings... I love it!Are the badges and embroidery factory? Nice Jeep!
Nice work! I’m really diggin the 4th one down but they all look great!!Here are a few concepts I put together using the AEV Borah wheel. Don't mind my quick photoshop work. Just trying to visualize. Some of these will be harder to paint than others, but all doable IMO.
Sorry, meant 5th one down I like the best. But they all look great!!Here are a few concepts I put together using the AEV Borah wheel. Don't mind my quick photoshop work. Just trying to visualize. Some of these will be harder to paint than others, but all doable IMO.
I like the first on the top shelf. Not too much blue and the bead side is black for when it gets scratched on the rocks. Easier touch up on that.I enjoyed doing that, so I made more with the AEV Pintler. Anyone want to suggest others that may look good with hydro blue accents inside (ie not just painting the beadlock or trim ring). Happy to do a few others, as time permits. I also need to make the blues lighter. The light blue below should be the darkest,.
Good point. Less chance of hitting the paint.I like the first on the top shelf. Not too much blue and the bead side is black for when it gets scratched on the rocks. Easier touch up on that.
I think it stands out. Not many bright blue vehicles in parking lots. As for the swirls and such…still waiting on mine to get here…hopefully it’s not as bad as some colors are.I like Bright/Loud color cars. I started looking at the Hydro Blue. Not sure if I would call it a Loud color seeing it stand out from a mile away or not.
How does the Hydro paint hold up to marks and washing? Does it hide swirls? Or is it a color that shows imperfections a lot?
Thanks
