Today was a four-er.

4 seperate incidents of strangers, ranging from 17 to 85, gushing over Hydro Hazel. The color certainly invokes emotion in people.

If you own or have ordered a Hydro:
Looking forward to picking mine up soon-ish (waiting on shipping at this point only!). 4xe Rubicon with the soft top, non-colored fenders and steel bumpers 🤤

I’ve been following your posts on the forum for a while now, as we wait for our orders to be built. Mine is a Hydro Blue JLURXR with 3.6 V6 and AT. Black hardtop, fenders & grill. First Jeep…. ! At 72 years old, I figure why not???
Enjoy your Jeep and don’t forget to post a picture!
I should have pictures to share some time tomorrow. Hydro Blue really is a beautiful color. I can’t wait to see it in person!

So excited to officially be in this club! Plenty of additions to be made in the coming months but loved the first drive home! I’ve heard over and over that pictures do not do this color justice and it’s so true. Would’ve taken more pics but was too busy getting behind the wheel!

Jeep is finally ready - pics from the dealer to placate me while I figure out the travel arrangements to pick it up!

I love the painted fenders - I would suggest some mudflaps and / or some PPF for the fenders, especially the rears. They take a beating from the "junk" the KO2s pick up and toss on to the side of your Jeep.

Good point! I ended up going with a protection package my dealer offered which was PPF for all exterior (including half doors), undercoating against rust and sth in the interior for $1,350. Guaranteed for 7 years.

Seems like a good deal? I wasn't sure, but was too excited to think clearly, to be honset.

Take good care of yours, @Murphydog!

That seems like a good price on the PPF.

I have the black fenders and I was late with my Rokblokz mud flaps so my rears are pretty dinged up, and my door hinges got a few nasty chips too. I was in Moab last week and badly scratched my front fender on one of the scrubby pine trees...I'm going to try the 303 Aerospace product to see it can at least minimize the visibility of the scratches and scuffs. I may buck up and purchase a new front fender if it still looks awful...
