SUSPENSION
Shock type:
  • Front:
    • Rubicon: High pressure gas charged monotube shock absorbers with MTV technology and hydraulic rebound stop
  • Rear:
      • Rubicon: High pressure gas charged monotube shock absorbers with MTV technology and hydraulic rebound stop
Will this mean that the Rubicon will NOT hit it bump stops but rather the "shock" will take place "smoother" in the shock? OR, is this mean when the shock is fully extended it will be "smoother" before it tops out?

I don't think this is what it means. I think it means that the internal rebound function of the shock itself is hydraulic. Bump stops are to limit articulation.

However, companies make hydraulic bump stops...would be wonderful if that's what they're talking about instead of just regular rubber bump stops...

The way I read it was the hydraulic bump stops are like the Teraflex ones for the JK. I have not seen pics too confirm but that would be VERY nice

It is talking about the shock design itself, not bump stops. This is about the internal rebound stop, part of the function of the shock.

Gotcha. We could only wish. I don't know much about the internal bump stops.

Bump stops limit the travel of the suspension. This is referring to the REBOUND of the shock. There isn't an internal "bump" stop. This handles the rebound after the shock has been compressed. On high end shocks, this is adjustable for different terrains and affects how harsh the vehicle rides.

This article will explain it better.

I am pretty sure the JL's will come with the rubber bump stops.
