Hybrid Button Question

So for a few months the 4xe seemed to run in electric most of the time. Now it seems to be using the engine most of the time.

Do temps factor in? I had barely used the engine. Does that factor in at all?

It's a hybrid, not an EV. The gas engine can't just sit there. It has to be used sometimes and the 4xe will switch to ICE if it hasn't been used in a while. It's not just for when the EV battery runs out.
