I took my Jeep to the mountains over the weekend in an attempt to escape the heat.

This was the temperature inside my house. It was unbearable.

Just sitting in the Jeep with the AC on felt a lot better.

The Jeep handled the heat without a sweat, pun intended. The engine fan kept blowing all the time, but the engine temperature didnā€™t even blink, even in slow mountain climbs.

I even brought some water for Sasquatch but couldnā€™t find him anywhere. I think he died of heat stroke!

In typical Jeep fashion, the AC had no issue cooling down the cabin, and the headliners did a good job keeping my head cool.
Damn, that's hot for inside the house. The hottest ever been here (DFW) was 2 days in row 113.

But the difference was AC here. Might suggest during next winter you find a couple of window AC units and keep 2 main rooms cool and close rest house up. From the way, the planet is warming this will not be the last time you have this.
Better to have them now for future use.

'21 Willys has performed flawlessly during this heat wave. I even run 87 in the tank and zero pinging. Amazing!!

Planet warming up, šŸ˜†. Please take a look at the non cherry picked historical temperature graphs.

Out my way in Plam Springs Ca we are in a cooling trend for the next week. Itā€™s been 118 almost all last week.

My 2021 is doing great. AC cools the Jeep off reasonably fast even when the Jeep has been sitting in the sun for hours( black hard top). Nothing surprising or concerning with engine temps.

I live out near Mt Rainer, within 25 miles of it, ( so no cutesy grill screens needed).
It was over 100 up here yesterday and first time I heard the jeeps electric fan running.

My A/C did fine with the hardtop. No liner. I had 5 people in my Jeep once. They said it did fine even in the rear seat.

I just had the soft top in safari mode. Took the side windows and back off and felt the warm air hit me while driving. It was great!

First time huh? So before that you didn't realize the cooling fan was actually an authentic WWII era airplane propeller? Pretty sure bystanders think my Jeep is about to explode when that thing comes on.

I live in AZ! . I have a hardtop with hot head headliners and ceramic window tint. I would not park for an entire day in an unshaded area. AC works just fine on levels 3-4 at the beginning then I lower the fan to level 2.

Here is South Texas, where we can see 100 degrees form March through September, we have had maybe one 100 degree day and not that many 90 degree days compared to normal. Weā€™ve also has a lot of rain, especially for the summer. Most days have been in the upper 80s. But Iā€™d rather have 105 with low humidity than 90 with high humidity.

It hasnā€™t rained in at least 3 weeks here in NW WA, and the weather forecast shows zero percent probability of rain for the next two weeks.

A few plants in my yard are already dead, and several more are in various stages of dying. At the same time, a Norwegian spruce, a silver dollar tree and a Douglas fir I planted a couple of years ago seem to be loving this hot, dry weather. The silver dollar tree, which is a type of eucalyptus, has doubled in size since spring!

This might turn out to be a vintage year for local wine producers.
