I only have 635 miles on my 2023 JLURXR and the best I see is 16.7 MPG.. I truly hope that it is a break-in thing. Not huge, as MPG was not even a consideration in my purchase, but seeing all ya' all's numbers has me wondering.

I'm coming from a supercharged Toyota Tundra on 35s and 4.88s, so even at 16.7 MPG, I'm still saving money at the pump. Yes, premium fuel.

Dave
I'm averaging around 20% less than what Jeeps advertises.

The dash reads about 8-9% high and it was already 12% less than what they advertised.

Still better than the V6 on 35s I had though.

I have a new to Me ā€˜20 JLUS with around 28k miles, that i picked up in NJ and drove down to FL. Itā€™s all stock.. and i averaged ~22. Mpg driving down 95 doing about 75-77 mph. I was very Very impressed! Oh.. this was based on our not so accurate trip computer.. lol

Been averaging about the same down here. Will be interested to see how that changes as i upgrade wheels and tires and maybe a small lift. šŸ¤”

I just checked my mileage after driving 180 miles in a mix of city/highway miles last week. The computer displayed 22.3 mpg and hand calculated it was 22.26. Usually the displayed mileage is 1 to 1.5 mpg higher than the calculated mileage but not this time....go figure. I've been running 93 since I bought it last February.

Iā€™ve just burned through 3 tanks of 88 octane E15 running around back roads in Mn and Iowa on vacation. 2.0 Turbo. Mostly 50-55 mph. The MANUALLY calculated mpgā€™s were 26.8. I thought the mileage would tank with E15, but at 40 cents/gallon less than 87 octane E10 I thought Iā€™d give it a try. Very pleased so faršŸ‘

Yeah... I got quite the opposite and I have no idea what I am doing wrong.
I am not asking to get roasted by anyone here I brought a Jeep and knew the fuel mileage would not be the best lets get that out of the way; especially with the Willys MT tires.
I have a stock Willys 4 Unlimited and My first 5k miles I was consistently getting 19- 20mpg in the city and 21-23 on the highway and after I've hit 18k miles after the last year of loving this Jeep I have NOT been able to pass 14mpg on the highway. Is it the Florida heat? Like this is a pretty large drop and I know FL traffic is bad but even longer highway stretches I cannot get over 14mpg.
Is there anything anyone can suggest that I can do? Feel like this kind of drop is not normal.
Thanks in advance

Just the opposite, actually.

Just spitballing, in no particular order and not wanting to assign any blame here:

-Quality and octane of fuel being used...top tier 91+, or no-name 87?
-How heavy is your right foot?
-Are tires wearing correctly?
-Average vehicle occupancy and cargo weight?
-Frequency of A/C usage? Or windows down instead? (Silly Q, being you're in FL, but I thought I'd mention it anyway)
-
Is the vehicle being correctly maintained: air pressure, engine fluid changes, etc?

Thanks for the quick reply haha

I use Costco 93 for every fill up and nothing else.
I don't have the lightest foot but I definitely do not mash it everywhere
I think my tires are wearing correctly I can still track straight without holding the wheel
Avg vehicle is 1-3 people
Windows down unless on the highway

Might get an Oil change soon? Will see if that helps as I am 4k miles since last oil change and I always change at 5k

Regular fuel with 35's and Mopar lift 20 mpg in town only. Tried 93 octane most of summer when it's hot and started back to Regular Oct when its cooler. Really didn't notice difference with 87 or 93

I think the real reason behind the mpg is because you are Obi Wan. Heck you could probably drive around on empty! šŸ˜²

2019 JLUR - No lifts, stock tire size. I use Sam's Club gas almost exclusively (87 octane).

I'm at around 1,250' above sea level and I live in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains... I have been getting 10.5 - 20.5mpg for the past year... I put new tires on the Jeep a few weeks ago and it dropped instantly to 17.0mpg... (BF Goodrich K02's, same as original tires)

I have 50,100 miles on my Jeep and drive the same route nearly every weekday, weekends vary somewhat.
