For the first 4,000 miles on stock 33's was getting 22 MPG on premium. I was shocked MPG was so high given half the miles are in low range on the trail. Last 1,000 miles on 37's getting 19 MPG.

15.5 combined typically . 37 with 3.5 inch lift still on stock 4.10 but hope to regear soon. When I was in Ouray I averaged 19 when my speed was never over 65.

2020 Wrangler Sahara Unlimited, Northern Italy, based on vehicle data up to 26 mpg driving 85% on backroads, no traffic lights, light traffic, mostly flat, 10% city, 5% off-road. MPGs go down with some off-road or mountain roads.
Calculating average fuel economy when fueling gives a little lower mileage.

Lifetime average (real MPG) is around 22 MPG.

Last weekend drove from Denver, over Indepence Pass to Aspen, and back home. Trip computer said 31.5! Which is still close to 30 actual since the trip computer always reads higher than actual.

1000 mile trip last weekend. LA to las vegas and back to LA. then next day LA to san diego and back. averaged 75-80mph on both trips(trying to stay in front of the distracted idiots facetiming while driving). suprisingly got 23mpg over that trip. lifetime in this stock unlimited willys sport is around 19mpg, just cracking 10,000 miles.

happy to see gas finally under $5 a gollon somewhere nearby.

Started with 25mpg on long trips with stock JLU sport and went down from there with mods. Now I can barely get 20MPG driving very conservatively. I have Rubicon axles, 35s ( OK 34s :) ) 2" lift, bumpers and all other stuff. From my observation, lifts kill the most MPG

I'm sure every mod beyond stock hurts your MPGs. I get really good mileage out of mine (I think anyway) but it's a bone-stock JLU Sport S. No lift yet, stock tires, etc.

Yes it does. But with Rubicon springs and wheels I was still able to get ~23mpg on a trip from San Diego to Moab and back. Last set of mods (axles, wider and bigger wheels, lift, different fenders and some other supporting mods) made a really big hit on my fuel mileage. I had a trip with everything without a lift and got 20.5 MPG easy. With added 2" lift I was really struggling to get to 20MPG.
