Hi there,

I tried to put dynatrac lift on by myself on last weekend...
Failed to unplug both connectors, even broke the clip on FAD connection...

Has anyone had any experience on this?

Thanks...

Yes, you get a little screwdriver and pull the little white tab backwards till it clicks, then you push down on the tab to pull the plug out. See the pics where the screwdriver goes.

You might be able to do it with your finger/nail but I used a screwdriver.

I noticed a lot of the JL loom plugs have this sort of mechanism.

Thank you...
The clip on FAC connector is gong now... don't know how to fix it...

Which direction you are pushing down in order to pull it out?

Once the white clip is pulled out, it is then pushed down like a normal plug towards the main body of the plug, and at the same time you pull the body of the plug out.

If it's entirely gone, maybe shove something in there to prop whatever is hooking it up. Sounds like your in a tough spot!

Sorry for the late reply, it's the clip you push down, so if the clip is gone then not sure how to do it... :(
No worries…
I’m going to try to use spring compressor instead.

Just broke the white clip myself. Any idea on a part number or replacement option? I hope i don't have to replace the whole plug

You ever find anything? I broke the front one, but jammed part of it back in to get it locked together. If I ever have to remove again, will probably need a new clip and would like to have some on hand if needed.
