Regear, wheels, fender flare extension, tire carrier, decals, rear track-bar bracket is higher. Still
Your VIN will not say it an XR.
I wouldn’t even bother. Just install 35s, 1.25” wheels spacers, and the mopar 2” lift and it will look the same. 392 wheels look way better than the XR/Mopar wheels IMO. With the torque the 392 has, 35s won’t need 4.56 gears. Congratulations On your 392!
Thank you, this helps!

Some misinformation in this thread. Front axle same on both models, including knuckles. They both had same lift height as well just a change in spring rate and shocks. Here is a list of differences

Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you! Such a shame they dropped the XR.

Look, you have a 392, It doesn’t get better than that. Some Jeep people will know about the XRs. However, majority of the people don’t even know the difference between a sport and a 392. Here is a photo of my 2020 with 35s and 392 takeoff suspension and wheels for an idea. I added 1.25” spacers that put the +44.45 offset wheels to +12 like the Mopar wheels offset. Because the 2.0 Is lighter, The Wrangler gained a net 2” with looks like the 2” Mopar lift. With the 2.0 it moves, imagine with 470ft/lbs of torque. I wish they offered the 392 in 2020.

I was under the impression it was a temporary halt on XR. Has information come out stating it’s never coming back?
Halted for 22’. I believe we will see a version on this with 37s for the 20th anniversary for MY23.

Re-Gear for sure or you won't get the 12.9 second quarter mile times
You've already spent this much, may as well keep spending till you get it right
You wanted your XR package.... now do it right or you'll never be happy with it because.. "you'll know"

Does anyone have part numbers for the steel front hubs and the 392 front axle shafts?

Have seen videos of non-XR’s doing high 12’s and bumping the speed limiter or times would have been better. 35’s would be like higher gearing but don’t recalibrate and top speed would be a bit higher so maybe.😊

I was actually interested in this topic. More so of finding someone who was going to sell their axles so I could possibly keep the warranty on my current 392 instead of regearing outside of the warranty.

Except if you break the replacement axles they won’t be under warranty so what’s the advantage?

If a dealer did the swap that’s what I was wondering.

I am disappointed regarding the cancellation of the XR option as well. Mine was all speced out with the package, I had my heart set on it, but given the state of everything these days I ordered it today. Dealer told me that they have supply chain issues and that is most likely why this occurred. He iterated that the package may appear again once the supply is returned to normal.
