How to tie in new rear bumper lights into the reverse gear

Years ago, when I had a TJ, I purchased these Rough Country 2" flush mount cree led lights. I never installed them..
With my newly tinted windows, I was thinking I could use a little more light while backing up. The instructions don't say anything about connecting them to the reverse lights.
Does anybody have a video or writeup for something like this?

There is a thread here about oracle backup lights tying into the tail lights or the trailer lights.
