I 3rd xpel. It’s self healing in heat and they just disappear. It goes on first if you also want to do ceramic coating. Xpel then ceramic.

Meh ... WV racing stripes.
They're a trail badge of sorts around here.

Don't drive down trails with scrub if you don't want to get scratched. Even if you cover the paint with the options mentioned, the fenders, lights, mirrors, etc are all still exposed and the soft plastic will scratch.

I plastidipped my JLU with a thick coat specially on the sides.. it does really well in protecting the paint... it kind of looks like I Rhino lined it.. I can peel it off anytime I want and touch it up... cheap idea that works

When I was 23 and having a blast with my CJ5, we didn't care about scratches as they were part of the fun. Brush? We'd just try to drive over it as long as the tree was less than an inch in diameter.
Now, many years later, I cringe when I hear a branch scrapping the side of my 2008 Jeep Liberty. A Liberty that currently has 227,000 miles and counting. The good thing is wood usually doesn't do much damage that can't be buffed out. Usually.
I've stopped on the trail at my hunting property to cut back a branch or two many times. Guess I'll be doing even more of that when my new Sahara arrives in a few weeks. And keep a good coat of wax on the paint to help a tiny bit.

It also appears once you get into purchasing enough of that xPel wrap, not including installation, to cover everything that could possibly get scratched, you are well over 2K. I could easily see 4K for full wrap installed.
Why not just use that for the "ill have it repainted eventually" fund?
