I always suggest reading the JL/JT Owner's Manual when you first get the vehicle. I also suggest keeping a copy of the owner's manual in pdf form on your smartphone..
I also believe that you should in general...

...as yes, some of what you read in the Owner's Manual is incorrect ....
.....is what FCA wants you to know and no more .... and... and well, you are far better of reading the manual and then do as @Arif did, come here and "always good to check with experienced people, and gain knowledge".

That’s definitely confusing and all around bad information! Figures the source for the Google result is a dealership. LolI am usually vigilante about reading manual, and I did (read the manual), and, unless I missed something, did not find relevant info. I googled, and got confused (take a look at the snapshot).
