Hey hey now, I'm only 35. Don't go making 38 seem scary.

...please
I am right there with you... up until 35 time seems normal... had a kid and now the last year and a half seem like a week

I forget how I got them loose but I also don't remember it being particularly difficult. Jeep was brand new, so maybe that was a factor. I probably used either an 1/2" impact driver or an 18" breaker bar, or some combination of both.

One of the tow hook bolts that I removed was cross-threaded all the way through. That discovery served to explain the effort required to remove the bolt.

Either the line worker didn't recognize or care about the extra effort required to jam the bolt home in such a manner, or the tool that he was using wasn't programmed to stop after a certain torque threshold was exceeded.

That bolt, and the observably crooked UAW sticker (of all things, lol) affixed to the tailgate, are the only goofs on the vehicle that I've discovered to date. If that's the sum of it, fine by me.
