How to remove the rear tow hook bolts

They are on there pretty tight. For those that took theirs off, how did you loosen the 4 bolts?

Longer wrench they are not held in with thread locker just really tight

More technical answer: 21 mm socket in a 1/2” drive ratchet and a bit of grunt. I did this last night for a rear bumper swap. It looks like the factory used green thread locker on the bolts.

I think factory spec is only like 70 ft*lbs. Shouldn't be to hard to remove.

I just buzzed ‘em off with the impact when I removed them to install my rear bumper. Never gave it a thought

Thanks guys. Indeed just needed a longer wrench and definitely put some back into it. I thought I could do it with my big muscles, but then I realized I am a 38 year old man with a declining physique.
