Don't drive in the late spring through early fall. ;)

Seriously though, these Jeeps are no worse than anything else I drive. Bugs on the windshield is a fact of life. I know it's a real pain to try and keep your new ride clean. Really frustrating. Get some "bug remover" washer fluid and don't worry about it. Just throw the top back and enjoy it.

It is without a doubt the worse bug catcher I've ever driven. My trucks and other suv I've had, not near as bad. It is what it is.

I’ve heard a deflector on the front of the hood works wonders. I don’t believe they have one out for the JL yet.

The better question is.... how do you keep the windshield rock free?

Do bug deflectors help with both?

I was just driving through the Shenandoah Valley and as soon as I used the wiper fluid to clean the windshield another bug would splat across it. The good news is I will hopefully be low on the factory fluid and can replace it with the rain-x fluid.

There are reports that the Rain-X windshield washer fluid can clog the feed lines.

I use a spray detail on my front window. Its called Super Slick. It works great again its a paint detail product so spraying it on your vehicle is also good but it helps out on the windows. No water or bug guts will stick and the windshield wipers GLIDE across the window. Car detail guys use it look at any YouTube video most products they detail with is pink its the Super Slick.

I keep my windshield coated with Rain-X and use regular ole washer fluid. No problems getting them off.
