How to get Unlock code for radio

I might be selling my 7 inch radio If I where to sell it how do I get the unlock code for the person who buys it

Dealer parts department did mine - I just had to provide vin and ID

I called my dealers parts department and they took care of it over the phone you need to know your Vin number

What I did is I called my local Jeep dealer asked for the parts Deptarment and told the guy on the phone I wanted to get my unlock code for my 7 radio he asked for my VIN and took about 5 minuets to get me the code and all was done
