How silly would a Rubicon on 33s look with a 3.5” lift for a few months?

I have a 2022 Rubicon and recently bought a 3.5” rock krawler lift. I plan on installing the lift in the next month or so.

I’m currently on stock 33s and don’t really want to (aka shouldn’t) spend $2k on 37s right now.

Who cares? ( By that I mean the general motorist public) It's your Jeep and you build it as funds/time allow. I think 33's will be fine. I don't think it will really look out of place honestly.

That’s a solid point. It’s a work in progress and it may look a little off, but it’s progress toward my goal.

Besides 37s would only be 4” bigger, so it wouldn’t be vastly different in height. The wheel well would just be a little emptier

I honestly think you'll be ok. I have seen Ram pickup trucks with 22" wheels and rubber bands for tires lifted way too much that still looked quite good!

Mine was like that for a while, and is like that for the winter months. I have a Teraflex 3.5" lift and use my OEM wheels and tires in winter, with dedicated larger offset wheels and 35" tires for trails in the summer. I will say that when my OEM tires are finished, they will be replaced with 35s, but the look is fine.

Rubi with 33s and a 2in lift. So, add another 1.5ish inches to the wheel wells.

Heres the same 33s with 150lbs on the top towards the rear. Sits about .5in lower.

I agree with "who cares?".

But if you add a 3.5" lift to a Rubicon does it raise it a full 3.5"? If you put the same lift on a Sport do you then get 5.5" lift? Or is a 3.5" lift only 3.5" on a Sport and about 1.5" on a Rubicon?

Where are you getting 5 37" tires for only $2k?

Actually it’s the best way to do it. If you install the lift and leave the stock tires and wheels you can identify any vibrations weird steering etc. Sometimes a big new tire and wheel will hide things Or cause other things. Doing it in steps is always a good idea.

Here’s a 2.5” lift with 31’s and rubicon flares. Should be pretty similar look. Kinda goofy, but not bad enough to spring on extra money immediately

There are a next to no good quality option’s except one. And I’m not sharing it till I order mine here soon so the secret doesn’t get out and stock is gone/price rises. Sorry guys!

And yes, 3.5” lift on 33’s will look silly. Especially consider you’ll likely end up with 4”+. But it’s fine. If it concerns you that much just wait to put your lift on.
