I got a deal on Rubicon take offs to upgrade my comparatively light weight JLUS. Four numbers up on all four springs (she was a heavy Mojito Rubi), Rubi shocks, (no difference parts), and rock rails for $240.

Lots of threads discussing the merits and metrics of purchasing and installing these....but....how much jack/jack stands do I need to get the job done in my garage? I have all the other tools. My jack situation is non-existent at the moment. I used to have a jack I'd guess is too small, but a relocation ate it. Short of a lift, what do I need?

3-5 ton floor jack. 2 or 4 good jack stands (harbor freight has great/inexpensive jack stands). Taller stands are better suited to working on your jeep.

The higher capacity jack stands are usually taller as well. I use the Torin Big Reds that extend to 28" to put under tge frame. Sure they're overkill but I got them for their height. I use a pair of smaller 3.5T stands to support the axles.

I've got 4 tall jack stands and 2 floor jacks on stand by. Just waiting on brown santa to deliver my toys.
