What's the video have to do with the title of the thread? Maybe a well-restored CJ is expensive AF?
I took it to mean the OP thinks anybody sinking more money into wheeling their Jeep than the person in the video, is wasting their money... Which may be true, til the dude in the video gets caught driving in a hail storm... :)

And that is my point. Dudes spend thousands on their rigs and this basic vehicle can do the same things. Just find it funny

I don't see the point ... not all Jeep owners equate money spent to advanced capabilities ... it's just like anything else you can spend money on ... everyone has different values ...

not to be a dick but why does it matter. I have a friend with a brand new 392 thats loaded, xr the whole 9 yards. he installed electric side steps, and a winch. the jeep will spend most of its time driving to and from their beach house, and on the beach.
on the opposite end of the spectrum, i had a sport, that had rubi tires, and suspension, rock sliders, on board air and a few other things i found necessary and did what i could for wheeling in Virginia and did a couple of out of state parks and several beach trips. Both of us enjoy the hell out of our jeeps. Both of us "use" our jeeps. both of us spent money to buy and upgrade our jeeps. Who really cares how much was spent, or how a person "uses" a vehicle. A jeep is no different then any other vehicle with different trim levels and potential uses.

I'm often occupied, by many things, often at the same time

This is a Jeep forum, so people ask. They ask the same questions on Mustang forums, or 4Runner forums. It's interesting to many people. In fact, many of the questions or conversations here are really about what people are buying in order to modify their vehicle. At its very core, that's what this forum is about, commercialism, how you're spending your money.

I'm not bashing people who put money into there jeeps. I just think it's funny that this simple jeep can do most of the stuff that built up jeeps do with easy.
