I like looking at used Jeeps online and was surprised at how much the pricing varies state to state for an identical Jeep. For example a used 2019 wrangler sport was going for one price in one state then a few grand extra in another state. Just thought it would be fun to see how much you got your jeep for and was it used or new?

$38,665 (new). It was the only one anywhere near me that had everything I wanted. Didn't go the used route as that would have only saved me a couple of grand. I figured for that couple of grand I get the new car warranty and know it wasn't beaten up before I got it.

I forget the exact numbers but it was 8% below invoice. Are you looking at 2 identically equipped sports? Options on these things can make the difference of several thousand dollars. These things hold their value so well that buying one used doesn't really make a lot of sense.

I paid $38,000 for a new 2018 JLU Sahara with an MSRP of $50,000. The Jeep had sat on the dealer for 18 months.

Don’t know why it sat unsold so long; it’s been totally trouble-free. It must have been waiting for me to find her.

My Sahara's MSRP was $56,485 Canuck dollars, so $42,917 Freedom (American) dollars. Granted, I didn't pay that much, I paid 52K before taxes, so about 7% less than MSRP

I live in Cali. I found a used 2019 Sahrah in NY last October 2019 with 7,500 miles at a Mercedes Dealer. Clean CarFax, full video walk around inside and out. New it went for $55,000. They were asking $38,800. I used Auto Trader to find one with all the options I wanted. SOT, LSD, Full time 4 wheel drive, adaptive cruise, Leather ect. Cost me $1,200 to ship. Was a hassle to register, but I bought way more Jeep than I could have new. Paid cash.

$38,600 before tax and title on a New JLUR. Only option was cold weather package which is what I was wanting. MSRP was somewhere around $46k. Missouri dealer.
