Thanks, I took delivery today after I called them up on the 5th and read your reply. I saved $2,100 talking to them. Yeah my 2015 Jeep wasn't quite 3 years old (bought in September of 2015) and had 49.5k miles on it and needed some tires and got a tad more, previous was 2.5k and they upped it 1k for it 3.5k and a sale price on it for 34,500 (I added the auxiliary package). (MSRP on my VIN was 38,920). As for the time of 72 vs 84, it just isn't economically for my wife and I since we are both finishing graduate school in the next year. How beat up is your 2015 sport that they only gave you 2k? or did you owe a bunch on it still? And that is a long time to finance a vehicle. Can't get a 60 or even a 72 month loan?
There are a lot of members that have gotten the invoice price - 5%. you might be able to get the dealer to do that. should save you around $1700-1800. The dealer is still making money on the deal.
my $.02 worth
Very glad it worked out for you! Thanks, I took delivery today after I called them up on the 5th and read your reply. I saved $2,100 talking to them. Something wrong with your trade-in price ; ought to be a lot higher than that , right ?Yeah my 2015 Jeep wasn't quite 3 years old (bought in September of 2015) and had 49.5k miles on it and needed some tires and got a tad more, previous was 2.5k and they upped it 1k for it 3.5k
Sorry, I'm referring to equity in the car, not total trade in, they gave me 22,000 which is a 500 less than another dealership, but they wouldn't give me a better overall deal.Something wrong with your trade-in price ; ought to be a lot higher than that , right ?
That’s a great deal. What state did you purchase in?My 2019 JLU Sport S was just over 41k sticker. I got it for 35 out the door.
I’m in GA about 45 min outside of Atlanta. The further away you get from the trails in the North GA mountains the better the deals seem to get. The salesman actually used one of his family discounts to get it to that price. It was the end of their monthly quota and wanted the sale in March. That’s a great deal. What state did you purchase in?
My sticker was 41.6K, I paid 38.5K. I could’ve gotten a better deal for sure, but didn’t want to travel too far. I believe that’s about 4% under invoice.
