For comparison my 1.5L Civic Si, Honda says 20.3 but I've only seen 18 on hot humid days at 600 foot elevations.
My old 2.0L Focus ST would get 21 psi which is what Ford clamed it would.

According to Alfa Romeo forums drivers are recording boost maxing out at 25psi with regular boost levels of 20-25psi. Since this 2.0l in the Wrangler also includes the mild hybrid setup who knows if they have decided to remap the ECU boost pressures a bit lower or not.

I wonder if some type of boost gauge will appear on the instrument panel or perhaps on the head unit?

I'm guessing they will come with Honeywell (old Garrett) but shit quality. PSI will probably be upwards of 20, they always squeeze those little things for all they got.

PSI is relative to turbo size anyways. It could be a huge turbo pushing 10 psi or a tiny turbo pushing 20. What's more important is how big the turbo is, its construction type, and how stressed it is.

It could easily be a bigger turbo that's understressed to take advantage of eTorque and longevity and could be cranked up massively for a huge power increase.

It'd be neat to see a giant turbo with meth setup. I bet that could get around 400hp without messing with engine internals or fuel systems. Plenty of opportunity for tuners for sure.

My recollection from reading various articles is that it's small, low inertia, twin turbos, each feeding two of the four cylinders and electronically controlled waste gates. The bias with that setup being quick response to minimize "turbo lag" but less available boost at higher rpms than larger turbos might give.

Twin turbos often have big potential for tuning because they are set up for quick response and under stressed. I thought people had seen photos of the engine itself and seen the single turbo also. I dunno. Electronic waste gates is good though. I'm sure it'll be a breeze to tune unless the eTorque system makes it wonky.

My money is on a medium sized single turbo running like 20 psi. Crank it up to 25 psi and tune it for 93 octane and that'll get ya around 300hp/350tq no problemo for like $500 maybe.

It's a twin-scroll design turbo.

Twin scroll is neat. Usually not as much tuning potential with them though as they're optimized for efficiency. Can always just bolt in a giant turbo and go to town too if 300hp/370tq isn't enough!

The gearbox will not hold up to that. It was rated for up to 350 hp, the guys at Motech (V8 swap) said.
