How much better are the non-LED headlamps on the JL vs the JK?

Those lucky ones who already got their JLs with the standard non-LED headlamps, how are they? I keep hearing about how ridiculous the LED headlamps are, but what do you think of the non LED ones? If you've owned a JK previously, would you say they are an improvement?

What do you mean by this? All I've heard is the LEDs are great.

That being said, I'd be shocked if the JL non-led lights are not better than the JK. The JKs are like a flashlight under blanket. You'd be hard pressed not to improve on that.

LED lights are way brighter. There really is no comparison to standard headlights.

I believe the word you are looking for is "halogen". If I had to guess, I bet they are good. I have been in a few cars that had amazing halogen headlights that made me question if they were actually LED.

Halogens that came on the JK were a serious Chrysler oversight, that I can't see FCA perpetuating. Here's to hoping they are on par with the examples that I have in mind.

Unless FCA wants to push JL customers to the buy the LED package. Hmmmm.

JK and JL base headlights are horrible, IMHO, downright dangerous. If you didn't get the LED group, my first mod would be a good set of headlights.

First thing i did in my 2015 Hard Rock was swap out head and taillights for JWSpeakers. This was a year before available from the factory. The JW's are awesome. I went Mopar LED's on my order. I'm hoping they compare to the ones I have now.

Have you ridden in a JL with the base headlights at night? Interested in your experience.

I have no idea how the JLs halogens are, but Ive had it with wranglers and halogens so the LEDs were an easy sell for me.

Sorry to be grumpy on this but it is a pretty simple question. if you don't know the answer you don't have to post that you don't know the answer. There are now 14 replies to this but none of them answer the question.
