Thanks for the referral @Doug997. I ordered my 4xe yesterday from Adam Silver, GM at Central CDJR in Raynham, MA:

$63,495 MSRP
$59,892 Invoice
$57,450 Purchase Price (includes Tread Lightly discount)
$597 Doc Fee
$0 Sales Tax (NH)
$58,047 Total Purchase Price (8.5% under MSRP, 3% under invoice)
($7,500) Tax Credit
$50,547 “All-in” Purchase Price (20.4% under MSRP, 15.6% under invoice)

Gotta love that tax credit!!

Also got a competitive quote from Craig Benner at Koons. Craig was prompt, thorough, and had the best net price by $500 (deeper discount below invoice, but higher doc fee than Central CDJR). However, going with Koons would have cost me a plane ticket, a long day of travel, exposure to the latest virus du jour, fuel/tolls to get home, and wear and tear on the Jeep, whereas Central CDJR will deliver the Jeep to my driveway in NH, so I thought it was $500 well spent.

Now the waiting game begins!

Excellent news. You conld not find a dealer in NH that would give you the same/close? I am up around the big lake all the time so maybe we will run into each other...

Probably the last 10 vehicles I’ve purchased have been from MA dealers. NH dealers are typically much smaller, and I’ve never found one that can come within a couple thousand of a MA dealer. No sales tax since I’m a NH resident, and I can be to most dealers in MA in 1 to 2 hours max. I tried with my current Jeep back in 2018, and no NH dealer was offering anything attractive.

I actually didn’t even try a NH dealer this time around. I cross shopped 3 dealers: Two in MA, and Koons in VA.

I only got 2k off MSRP, but I'm still happy. I use the tax credit next year.

Is Koons 5% below invoice still the best deal closest to the NY/NJ area?
I got 7% below invoice from Leon at Criswell. But I'm still waiting for the vehicle to ship so the deal isn't closed yet.

Is that including the Tread Lightly discount and Chrysler financing?

That is with Tread Lightly and I have to use their financing though I'm uncertain if that's Chrysler or something local. My understanding is that I can refi anywhere within 6 months if I don't like the rate.

@gman123 just picked up from Criswell on Friday so I'm curious how that went.

Koons told me I can refinance after three months. LOL I am sure it's a sales gimmick. What's gonna happen if I pay it off in 30 days? We are selling our house and "if" I buy one, it's gonna end up as a lease, for a bit anyways, to get the $7500. I won't qualify for that otherwise.

I bought an incoming dealer stock 4xe from Bellevue Jeep (WA State)

MSRP $61,045
Sale Price $57,688
Savings $3357

Now here is the liker my trade is a 2018 JL Sport I purchased for my son just 10 months ago for $27k, I asked for $30K which I received, so basically another $3K reduction

Final price $54,668 (10.5% reduction off MSRP, about 6% below invoice) for a Dealer stock rig
No Subtract $7500 Tax Credit

balance $47,188

Overall 22.7% savings off MSRP

Kicker, this will be my company vehicle so after depreciation (5 years) actual out of pocket less than $25K at which point I purchased from the company for $1.

You got 6% below invoice on an in stock rig? I didn't think that was possible. I thought it was custom orders only.

as it's over 6,000lbs maybe look into taking that depreciated deduction up front?
