Though somewhat anecdotal, it also adds to the knowledge and collects data about the axles and how they operate with various oils which can help everyone make a decision about oil brand, viscosity, and oil change intervals.
Yep, and I think there is enough consistency, being a Rubicon, that if something works well for you or better, it will most likely work that way in another Rubicon, and probably a regular D44, too. I'll be watching closely as you compile data, for sure!

17,500 and it's at the dealer since it started making nasty lifter/rocker noise and burned a quart of oil in 3,400 miles.

I’ve had my 2019, 2-door Sport (manual) about a year now and just crossed 30,000 miles. Have had zero issues. Hasn’t been back to dealer since I bought it. Almost never use 6th gear.

Oil changes always with Valvoline Full Syn 0W-20 or Pennzoil Platimum 0W-20. Oil filter either Mopar or Wix.

70% highway driving

Cheers!

20k on my 2019 JLUR 8 speed

rear main seal leaked around 12k. Issue returned at 20k. Just had it replaced and supposedly the issue was a badly manufactured upper oil pan so that was replaced as well.

I have the 3.6 with 8 speed in our Durango as well. It’s at 66k and has been flawless

Dang, I just passed 4k today and I picked it up middle of March. I am loving the heck out of it. Enjoy driving it a lot. I even ignore my wife's calls so I can keep the windows down and enjoy the drive to and from work.

Brought it home from the dealership on 5/11/2020 and currently have 1,765 miles on the motor. At 1,000 miles the E-brake assembly needed to be replaced and my speakers frequently cut out on the drivers side, but i can’t stop smiling whenever I’m driving it.

2018 JLU 6 speed - Purchased 4/15/19 with 15Miles on the odo.
Currently at 15550 miles, 2 earl changes done and about to come up on the next one as im at 29%.
Just checked air filter last week- still good.

No recalls performed but I do plan on looking into the clutch recall, however shifting is still smooth and I previously owned a 2003 350Z which had a bad tranny at 8K with problems shifting with one clutch replacement at 35K.

upgraded from the 5 to an 8.3 uConnect radio and have the random issues of no rear camera or some times it locks on to one media option and i cant change until it sits and resets. (this is so rare it may only happen once every 2-3 months)

Ive changed the headlights, fog lights, parking lights to LED -- and installed sub-woofer system w/ no electrical problems. Battery almost always reads 14.2V

Love the days I drive the jeep, revere the days I roll on 2 wheels.
