How many tires fit IN a 2 door?

I recently bought some Moab takeoff wheels and tires (255/75R17) from a great forum member here. They are being shipped.

With the rear seat removed how many can I fit inside the Jeep? Also I have a soft top so the roof is not an option. Removing the spare is not an option either as I’m going to a shop for mounting and TPMS swap.

I was able to fit 5 285/70R17 tires in my old JK 2-door with the rear seat removed. I'd think you could fit them.

i think one of the member on here was able to put 4 in the back (without the rear seat) and one in the front seat. even if you have a hard top, it would be too much weight and will crack the top. could strap one on the hood (not recommended), just had to add that one for laugh.

They’re already being shipped to a depot near the shop. I considered dropping the spare off first but from the feedback here I can fit them all inside (maybe one on the front seat). And save myself the time and trouble. I will post some pics here after if it works so that others with 2 door JLs can see.

Make two trips and save the torn or dirty front seat damage. Trailer is a wonderful cheap thing to have.
I was able to only get three in mine, anything else seemed like damage was possible.
