Seems like you need a pre-flight checklist!

Let's see:
1. Buckle up
2. Start
3. Put in drive (while releasing p-brake)
4. Plug in phone, place on dash mount, open up Cigalert to check traffic
5. Close garage door

Notes:
a. Climate is usually set the same
b. ESS remains on
c. Only turn on cruise when needed
d. Lights are on auto, only adjust dash brightness at dusk/dawn if necessary

I think i lke pretending that I'm firing up my battle tank:captain:
Ha ha. I was thinking it’s sort of like an airline pilot. I guess I do push the heated seats/steering wheel when I don’t remote start. Stil tinkering with ESS. I have a Tazer but don’t have it plugged in for now but I’m getting a good feel for how much brake pressure to use to keep it running or let ESS do its thing. At this point I’m okay with managing it by brake pressure but I don’t really drive a lot, so others will have different opinions.

We need flip switches like tanks or planes have. Can you imagine the uproar?!

Only allowable if you verbalize the actuation of the switch and respond "check" when completed...

Unlock, press start button
Get key fob not in range message

Pull other leg inside cab push start button again, engine starts

Enjoy a few moments of loud radio static because I forgot to turn it down while previously listening to Bluetoothed music and the radio has a response lag time.

Try and remember to push the restart bypass button

Enjoy the unseasonable temperature inside the Jeep until the climate control lag time catches up

Wonder why I have to re-select Bluetooth on the media screen every time I want to listen to the music on my IPhone, but the phone itself auto connects as I search for my Lynyrd Skynyrd playlist

Drive to first stop light, realize I forgot to push the restart bypass button

Be very happy with my JL

Hate when that happens...for a split second I think I stalled it, but then quickly realize this Jeeps an automatic:CWL:
