I drive about 65-70k miles a year. I’m not sure where the hell i’m always going for that many miles. I have a couple of other vehicles so I only put 8500 on my Jeep so far after a year.

Since February I have over 6300 miles on mine. That is taking into account over 35 days that it has been in the shop. I expect I will put over 14000 miles a year easy.

I'm at just over two months of ownership and am at 975 miles, so I'm tracking for about 5K for year 1. It's obviously not my daily driver, just a beach and snow vehicle. My lease allows 12K per year so this gives me lots of ceiling for future road trips.

I’m at close to 18,000 and in a few weeks I’ll be at the one year mark. I don’t think that’s too bad.. surprised by this poll! :jk:

I'm just over 12k in 8 months, but we did a tad over 5k in the first 12 days we had it with a trip from Wisconsin to southern Utah.

Haven’t had ours a year yet, but so far just under 10,000 miles. With that being said, it was in the shop for 1 1/2 months getting repaired for hail damage that happened 6 weeks after purchasing our Jeep.

No regrets at all! Not a perfect vehicle, but sure is fun to drive especially off-road.

17k miles after 9 months...tracking for 23k/yr. I've thought about getting a 5 yr old honda civic for $10k that gets double my current 17mpg avg for daily driving, but dont want another vehicle. Here's the financial breakdown:

Jeep gas cost annually:
23,000 miles/yr / 17mpg = 1,353 gallons of gas/yr
1,353 gallons of gas * $2.50/gallon = $3,382/yr

Honda Civic
23,000 miles/yr / 34mpg = $1,691/yr

In summary, the jeep costs approx $1700/yr($140/month) more based solely on putting gas in the tank. If the civic is $10k, it would take approx. 6 yrs to break even and that's not including insurance/maintenance. It would benefit the jeep's value by keeping the daily miles off it. However, this clearly doesn't factor in SMG(Smiles Per Gallon), which may be the most important aspect.:involve::dance::jk:

Anybody else thought of this?

18k miles, 9 months, I work from home so I have no daily commute. I like to explore, find new roads to turn on, try new fishing spots, hike etc. the Jeep has helped me explore so much more or at least made it so much more enjoyable.
You get it :)
