Picked up my daughter's Sahara last Friday, cracked window with 25 miles (had 15 to start) on the odometer. Ouch. Still ordered a Rubicon when I got back for myself. Went with the gorilla glass.

Bought my JLR on April 1st, had around 1000 miles when I took off for a long trip middle of June last summer. Put around 4000 miles on it during the trip, made a stop 120 miles from home to get dinner and fuel, got back on the highway and a truck in front of me threw up a rock and it chipped the windshield - luckily no cracking though! So in short ~5000 miles.

have GG installed - 4000 miles, small chip on edge then crack, all instant. Crack continued to grow. finished 7000 mile trip. at 10,000, rock strike with nickel size impact chip. trying to get warranty replacement now. Really disappointed.
