For mine, was about 1,300 mile range.... cruising at around 70 mph speed on the CA 60 freeway in Riverside, when a Dodge (Challenger?) passed on left lane (must be doing 90+ mph)... all I heard after that was a loud pop and next thing realized the windshield's been hit... must have been a small rock kicked up by the rear tire of the Dodge as it flew by.
Took me all of 1647 miles - I even saw the rock flying towards and BANG!!!
Yes. One real advantage of having GG from the factory is that insurance companies will then authorize GG as a replacement, in the event of a crack. In a Customer Survey last month for "Jeep Wrangler JL Vehicle Quality Feedback" the only suggested improvement I have for Stellantis is to consider utilizing their 'Gorilla Glass' version windshield as a standard option on all their future Wranglers.
