How long it takes w/4 doors off & top off

Just for reference
My neighbor kid & I took all 4 doors & Hardtop off this past weekend, & reinstalled
Appreciated the free labor
I actually timed it for us beginners
1hr 7 mins for complete removal, without rushing
Probably could have saved 10 mins using a ratchet instead of screw gun
Putting doors back on, you really need 2nd set of hands

Doors off and top down on mine takes 10 minutes.

I take my doors off all the time (4) and it takes about 15 minutes going slow. And back on alone. Not sure why you need two people for doors once you get the hang of it they are quite light.

It’s pretty quick on my two door, also. Top off via ratchet straps in my garage, and I install tube doors, too. 15 mins.

Try holding the door so that u are facing the painted side. That way its easier to see and line up the pins. Just be careful and dont let the door swing closed. U could have the catch gouge the hell out of the door frame.

I can have mine nekked in 20-30 minutes by myself. Quicker going back on.

No reason to even keep the door bolts after you remove them the first time. The door aint going anywhere when it's shut. Otherwise the doors are off and locked up in your garage or they and your jeep are locked up when you are out and about. Absolutely no reason to put them back in.

hard top and doors removal by myself? 20 minutes or less, no rushing - having a power ceiling mounted hoist helps. If I were to "rush", even less.

With a hard top dolly, it takes me about 20 minutes taking my time. Takes me about 25 minutes to put it all back together.

The issue I encountered
Door finally reinstalled, swung closed slightly, pushed "door stopper" in
That was another challenge getting that out & bolted on
However another learning lesson

This has been a question I've had for awhile
Do they actually keep the door in place? If not reinstalled after setting the door back on the hinges, what holds the door in place? The weight of door?
