5728 last fall

I moved from Houston Texas to Colorado 8 weeks ago. I used to think that 5700 feet was really high considering that the slab elevation of one house that I owned was at 72 feet. I have quickly learned that 5700 feet in Colorado is considered flat land.

That’s Mount Cheam, the peak is at 7000 ft but you can only off-road to a trail head and hike up 10km to the peak. (If you are into hiking).
Otherwise I have a lot of other lovely trails you can visit when the border opens.

Yup. I'm in S Texas and sit at about 10' elevation

That was Christmas mountain near big bend. Beautiful area. I'd love to go more often if it didn't take 14 hours to get there with three kids in the back

High as I'll ever get in my rig was with a MHJC group on Mt. Antero, Co. last year. Because of the number of vehicles in the group we parked at less than the peaks 14,276 Ft. summit. We were very near summit but I don't remember what the elevation was.

13,800 ft. Mount Bross trail. I believe it is the highest trail in Colorado.

Antero gets you to 14,100 (you can hike the last ~130ft to 14,200+)
